Dua Lipa's ab-baring set is where boho meets cowboy
Dua Lipa is here for the boho revival.
On Friday, the pop superstar shared one of her famous fashion-filled Instagram photo dumps, and in it, she included striking snaps of a black bohemian-inspired co-ord she recently pulled off.
The set, by Ann Demeulemeester, was composed of a super-cropped off-the-shoulder top and a maxi skirt. The top had a frilly neckline, big, bulbous sleeves that tied and flared out at the wrists, and a sheer curtain of patterned lace at the bottom. The skirt, meanwhile, had dramatic, frilled layers, and like the top, adjusted with stringy ties. Lipa wore it low on her hips, and made it so the front was much shorter than the back.
The two-piece left Lipa’s toned abs bare, and her belly button piercing visible. She finished the look with black leather cowboy boots and chunky, sculptural silver hoop earrings. Her hair was pulled back into a sleek half-up, half-down style, and she continued the monochrome of her outfit with her glam, which included a dark smokey eye and a glossy black manicure.
The Houdini singer is currently in the midst of her Radical Optimism Tour, for which she is performing across 13 countries. She has just finished a run of five shows at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia, and will move onto Sydney in the coming days. “Lucky 22,” Lipa wrote in her Instagram post caption next to a photo of her holding a number 22 billiards ball (the musician has previously said that 22 is her lucky number).
