Dream job alert! Queen Elizabeth is looking for a new Demi Chef de Partie-or assistant chef-to cook for her and her guests at Buckingham Palace.

The royal household is looking to fill this full-time role with someone who can work five days a week between Monday and Sunday.

"This is no ordinary Demi Chef de Partie role," the job description reads. "In our state-of-the-art kitchens, you'll prepare classical and contemporary menus for a wide range of events, learning essential skills that will provide stepping stones for a great career."

Working with the rest of the kitchen staff at Buckingham Palace, the Demi Chef de Partie will prepare meals for important receptions and state dinners and will also cook staff lunches for the royal household.

While this position is mainly based at Buckingham Palace, it involves following the queen to her other royal residences, too, on occasion.

But if you think cooking for a queen will make you rich, think again. The salary is only £20,604.52 per year. However, this position not only includes a 15% employer contribution pension scheme and benefits, but also full room and board. Yes, this means that whoever gets this job also gets to live in Buckingham Palace-but in more modest quarters than the queen herself, of course.

Sound like your dream job? You have until January 1, 2018 to apply for the position, so hurry up and submit your resume here.
