Down-to-earth Paris Fury takes kids for £3.95 Morrisons cafe dinner despite multi-million fortune
Paris Fury, wife of multi-millionaire boxer Tyson Fury, has shown that she's not above a good deal. Fresh from her glamorous 35th birthday bash, the mother-of-seven revealed that she treated her kids to a meal at Morrisons supermarket.
She shared on social media that she opted for scampi and chips, which costs £7. Kids' meals are typically priced at £3.50, but one of Paris and Tyson’s seven children could have dined for free, as children’s dishes are complimentary with an adult main. The Fury kids had a choice of chicken dippers, fish fingers, sausages or pizza. Morrisons is also offering a special Christmas dinner menu from 11.30am to 3.30pm on most days.
This includes a variety of options, with the Christmas Turkey Dinner priced at £8.50. The meal description reads: "Served with roast potatoes, pigs in blankets, sage & onion stuffing, mash potato, cauliflower cheese, seasonal vegetables, sprouts, Yorkshire pudding, cranberry sauce & gravy."
Vegan and vegetarian alternatives are available at the same price, and there's a kids’ version for £3.95, which is also free with an adult main over £5. The festive desserts include a £3.50 sticky toffee pudding and £3.50 Christmas pudding. Last year, the Gypsy King published accounts last year showing he had £43m in the bank. But despite their incredible wealth, the Fury family is known for their down-to-earth lifestyle, with Paris often spotted shopping at B&M and Asda. While they own a property in glamorous Las Vegas, they choose to raise their children in a modest five-bedroom house in Morecambe, Lancashire, valued at £550,000.
Earlier this year, Paris gave fans a look inside the family's "budget" weekend break in Darwin Forest. In a clip shared on Instagram, Paris showed how her kids enjoying the park's indoor play area, loving the slides and playing in the hot tub. Captioning the short video, Paris wrote: "We had the BEST time on recent holiday with @hoseasons at Darwin Forest! There was something for everyone, from soft play areas and mini golf to archery and bike rides. the kids all absolutely loved it. Our stunning lodge had its very own hot tub and was super private being surrounded by the forest. The kids thought it was amazing, we all loved it and can’t wait to go again!"
Paris, who didn’t appear to have been joined by Tyson, 35, added that she had made some “great memories” with her kids during the trip. Prices for the Derbyshire-based resort typically cost from £759 for a three-night stay in a private lodge with a hot tub. The resort's website states: "From tennis, mini-golf, bodyzorbing, archery, and SeaScooters, to abundant footpaths and cycling trails that crisscross throughout the park; there’s something that all ages can enjoy."
Fans raced to the comments to gush over the star, complimenting her on her "down to earth" approach to parenting. One person wrote: "You are an amazing lady and family....they all look so happy X."
