Over the weekend, Christine Blasey Ford came forward as the woman who previously wrote a confidential letter to Senator Dianne Feinstein, alleging that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her when they were teenagers.

Then, in an egregiously obnoxious move even for him, Donald Trump Jr. posted a fake photo to Instagram, mocking Ford and her story.

The Instagram is meant to show "Judge Kavanaughs [sic] sexual assault letter found by Dems" and looks like a piece of lined notebook paper with these words written in crayon: "Hi Cindy will you be my girlfreind [sic] Love Bret [sic]" with boxes for someone to check yes or no.

He then wrote, "Oh boy... the Dems and their usual nonsense games really have him on the ropes now. Finestein [sic] had the letter in July and saved it for the eve of his vote... honorable as always. I believe this is a copy for full transparency."

The Washington Post reports that Ford accused Kavanaugh of pinning her to a bed, groping her over her clothes, grinding his body on hers, attempting to remove her clothes, and putting his hand over her mouth when she attempted to scream, all while "stumbling drunk."

According to the Post, Ford said, "I thought he might inadvertently kill me. He was trying to attack me and remove my clothing."

Ford originally disclosed the allegation to Senator Feinstein but asked for the story to be kept confidential. It was eventually leaked, and Feinstein gave the information to federal investigative authorities. While Ford feared retribution for coming forward, she has now decided to tell her own story. According the Post, she said, "These are all the ills that I was trying to avoid. Now I feel like my civic responsibility is outweighing my anguish and terror about retaliation."

The Senate Judiciary Committee is supposed to vote on advancing Kavanaugh's confirmation this week, though now a number of Senators have requested it be postponed; Ford has now said she's willing to testify before the Senate.
