Days after Stormy Daniels' lawyer confirmed that his client had an alleged affair with President Trump (prior to his presidency), Trump has commented on how his wife, Melania, is doing.
The adult film actress, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, has sued Donald Trump for a non-disclosure agreement that she signed supposedly for $130,000 (£93,806). This is an NDA which, seemingly, was not signed by Trump.
The affair is said to have happened between 2006 and 2007, when Melania Tump had just given birth to the married couple's only child, Barron.
The President has not addressed the alleged relationship publicly, though The White House and Trump's lawyer, Michael Cohen, have denied all allegations of the affair.
Whatever the veracity of these allegations, it cannot be easy for Melania Trump right now.
The world has been watching her every move. Back in January, the First Lady was scrutinised for arriving at the State of the Union separately to her husband whilst also wearing a potentially suffragette inspired white suit. And things haven't let up since.
Now 71 year-old Trump has finally acknowledged that life for his 47 year-old wife isn't a bed of roses.
According to Us Weekly, Trump spoke about Melania whilst addressing a rally in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, 10th March. In reference to her work helping to fight the opioid crisis in the US he said, 'Melania. Great, great first lady,' he said. 'She's great, she's great. She is great.'
Though, the New Yorker acknowledged, 'You think her life is so easy, folks? Not so easy,' he said apparently laughing before adding, 'She is a great first lady.'
Donald, we were under no illusions that her life is easy.
