Don’t get green with envy at Lizzo’s look - copy it!

·1-min read

Up until recently, when we heard the words “green” and “hair”, images of the joker were conjured up.

But thanks to our 2021 beauty crush Lizzo, the Juice songstress now springs to mind.

Recently, she showed off a new dye job, unveiling neon green tresses to her Instagram followers. This isn’t the first time the 33-year-old has experimented with the hue; in the summer of 2020 Lizzo opted for a rich green shade. And, like before, she matched her eyeshadow perfectly.

For anyone brave enough to copy the star, her make-up artists and long-time collaborator Alexx Mayo shared all the details.

Uploading a series of photos on his grid, Alexx wrote: “Slime green for the WIN! @lizzobeeating

Hair @theshelbyswain.

“Photo/Makeup @iwantalexx using @lottielondon Stamp Liner wing edition gives you the perfect wing in seconds and is now available at @walmart -lottie x laila loves neon palettes – Miami -eco glitter in stargazer.”

Lottie London is renowned for its fun and colourful palettes, and you can use the exact shades Alexx opted for in the Lottie London x Laila Loves Neon Palette in Miami. With super sparkling shimmers and glitters, to rich and creamy mattes, the pigment in each shadow is buttery soft, allowing you to create a look that’s bold, big, and bright. Go big or go home this season!

We’ve had a nose around for some more great green make-up must-haves, like Lord & Berry’s Stardust Pigment in Gold Green, a highly concentrated, luminous, loose powder which offers up a punchy, pigmented shimmer, and Ciaté London’s Shadow Flip Metallic Liquid Eyeshadow in Peacock, a light, creamy formulation that creates a high-impact, otherworldly metallic finish to lids.
