If you can't tell, we're totally and utterly obsessed with Love Island, and we can't wait for it to come back. While Winter Love Island filled part of the gap in our lives in 2020, the year really wasn't the same without it, and we're so excited for the summer series to kick off. But when exactly is Love Island 2021 on TV?

Well, at the beginning of June, ITV2 revealed the series was coming "later this month". In a teaser on Instagram, Love Island wrote, "It's official, we're BACK! Who's ready for an absolutely scorching summer of love? 🌡 Coming this June, only on @itv2 and ITV Hub 😍 #LoveIsland"

Love Island fans have been speculating about when the launch night might be, based on past series. The launch night is usually on a Monday, around the end of June, and runs for eight weeks though out July and August.

On this basis, we can expect the show to land on 28th June, and conclude around the 8th or 9th August. This is so exciting!

ITV commissioner Amanda Stavri also recently revealed the series was most likely going ahead in Spain, aka "the home of Love Island."

She told Radio Times, "We haven’t announced anything officially but Mallorca is very much the home of Love Island. We did look into some back-up plans but we were all very much focused on making it happen in Majorca, which is where it belongs quite frankly."
