What does J Lo's mum think about her getting back with Ben Affleck?
Jennifer Lopez's mum is apparently "thrilled" that her daughter is getting close with ex, Ben Affleck. Rumours of a reconciliation between the pair have been swirling for months, since J Lo split from her partner of four years, Alex Rodriguez, in April 2021.
A source close to Guadalupe Rodriguez, told People: "She is thrilled that they are back together now." "In the past, Jennifer’s mom and Ben were very close," the source added, "Guadalupe loved Ben. She was sad when they couldn’t work things out years ago."
Recently, mum Guadalupe and Ben were spotted spending time together in Las Vegas, where Ben is working on an undisclosed project. "Jennifer loves that Ben and Guadalupe hung out," said the source, "Jennifer is very close with her mom. It’s very important to her that the person she is with, gets along with her mom."
J Lo and Ben met on the set of a movie all the way back in 2001. At the time, Jennifer was married to her second husband, but they divorced in 2002, after which she went public with her new relationship. The pair soon became one of the iconic it couples of the noughties, and were engaged for almost a year before calling off their wedding just days before it was due to go ahead.
Since their split, the pair have both had long-term relationships with other celebs. But 17 years later, it seems the couple are very much back on – and they've even got Guadalupe's seal of approval.
