Dixie D'Amelio has responded to Ariana Grande's criticism of TikTok stars and influencers, after the 7 Rings singer slammed them for their behaviour during the pandemic, saying that they shouldn't still be going out to bars.

Speaking about the coronavirus pandemic during an interview on The Zach Sang Show, Grande criticised people - seemingly particularly influencers - for going out to bars and restaurants. Noting that she hadn't been able to celebrate Halloween this year, and adding that it was one of her favourite nights of the year the Thank U, Next singer slammed people for not staying home, mentioning Saddle Ranch; a venue which is popular with TikTokers and influencers.

"Of all the things that we could have done, couldn’t we have just stayed home for a few more weeks like all the other countries that were fine, and are better than we are?" She asked.

"Did we really all need to go to f***ing Saddle Ranch that badly that we couldn’t have waited for the deathly pandemic to pass? We all really needed to put on our cowgirl boots and ride a mechanical bull that bad? We all needed that Instagram post that badly?"

Over the weekend YouTube account Pap Galore published a video in which TikTok star Dixie D'Amelio was asked about Grande's comments.

"Yeah I saw that. I don’t really know what to think,” D’Amelio responded. "I mean, she’s right. She’s right, yeah. She’s a queen, I love her."

Influencer Addison Rae was also asked about Grande’s comments in a separate interview, according to JustJared, responding, "I think it’s fair [Grande's comments]. I think it’s understandable. I definitely have been not going. I just have been trying to stay in and work out. I’ve been working out a lot, and also preparing for my movie."

However, the gossip site also claimed that Rae had been spotted at the Saddle Ranch venue twice over the past month, even claiming that she was seen kissing TikToker Bryce Hall there on Halloween.
