Disney+ has announced plans to remove multiple series and specials from the streaming site at the end of the month.
Most of the films and shows set to be scrapped are direct to streaming films and short lived shows.
The news of these removals comes following the announcement that Disney+ would clear out content as a cost-cutting measure, with a renewed focus on profitability.
"We are in the process of reviewing the content on our DTC services to align with the strategic changes in our approach to content curation," CFO Christine McCarthy revealed during a Disney earnings call last week (via Deadline).
"As a result, we will be removing certain content from our streaming platforms."
A longer list of titles set to be removed from Diseny+ are as follows.
America the Beautiful, Among the Stars, Artemis Fowl, Be Our Chef, The Big Fib, Big Shot, Black Beauty, Cheaper by the Dozen (2022), Clouds, Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings, Earth to Ned, Encore!, Foodtastic, Harmonious Live!, Howard, It’s a Dog’s Life With Bill Farmer, Just Beyond, Magic Camp, The Making of Willow, The Mighty Ducks, More Than Robots, The Mysterious Benedict Society, Own the Room, Pentatonix: Around the World for the Holidays, Pick of the Litter, The Princess, The Real Right Stuff, Rogue Trip, Rosaline, Shop Class, A Spark Story, Stuntman, Super/Natural, Timmy Failure, Turner & Hooch, Weird but True! and Wolfgang.
