Director Jean-Luc Godard dies

Editors at French newspaper Libération have reported that the filmmaker passed away on Monday. No further details were shared. Godard started his career as a critic, writing articles for Cahiers du Cinéma in which he challenged the conventions of Hollywood and French filmmaking.
