Struggling to motivate yourself to get to the gym?

Prepare for that struggle to be over, thanks to a new collaboration you certainly weren’t expecting: the Dior Vibe collection for Technogym.

Yep, you heard us right - Maria Grazia Chiuri, creative director at the luxury fashion house, has designed a series of limited-edition home fitness products in minimalist black and white, covered in the Dior logo.

There’s a treadmill that connects to your tablet, plus an Instagrammable workout ball that’s both a seat and a fitness tool, which comes with a complete exercise programme for flexibility, toning and balance.

Finally, there’s a fully kitted-out bench featuring dumbbells, elastics and knuckles that can perform over 200 exercises with on-demand workouts from the Technogym app.

Speaking on the collaboration, Nerio Alessandri, founder of Technogym and wellness designer, said: ‘This shared goal of excellence gives life to a limited series of innovative Technogym products, interpreted with the Maison Dior’s unique allure.’

‘Created to inspire the concept of wellness with new generations, it also offers people the opportunity to live a unique and irresistible experience.’

Sales of at-home exercise gear rocketed during the pandemic thanks to lockdowns shuttering gyms, so it's perhaps unsurprising that Dior is capitalising on this surge.

It's not the first time the company has used a novel way to attract new clients, either: LVMH’s Cheval Blanc recently opened a hotel in Paris with a Dior-branded spa.

The prices for the collection are as-yet undisclosed, and the equipment will be exclusively available in Dior boutiques from January 2022.

All that’s left to do in the meantime is update your athleisure - with this kind of equipment, designer trainers are practically a pre-requisite, no?
