When it comes to snacks (especially chocolatey snacks), we like to think we know a thing or two. Whether it's brand-new chocolate flavours, innovative snack recipes or the latest drool-worthy supermarket discoveries, we pretty much reign supreme when it comes to chocolate. If we do say so ourselves...

So, when we discovered that Maryland Chocolate Cookie Bars were a thing, we were STUNNED that we hadn't heard of them before!

Spotted online, it turns out these guys have been around for at least a couple years now (again, how?!), but we're not complaining about not knowing. We're just excited to get stuck in.

At just 96 calories each, these treats feature Maryland's signature cookie base baked with wholegrain oats and are coated in milk chocolate.

Maryland's Chocolate Cookie Bars are available in Heron Foods now for just 拢1 per eight-pack.

It's worth mentioning they come individually wrapped, making them the ultimate lunchbox treat. We can imagine these will go down well with kids and adults alike!

Looking for something a smidge more chocolate-heavy? Head this way...
