How did we all miss this hidden message in Meghan and Harry's wedding?

It's been almost four years since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot at Windsor Castle, but that doesn't mean we've finished obsessing over their big day. You can imagine our delight then, when we learnt that a bunch of eagle-eyed fans just spotted a HUGE hidden message in their wedding that we somehow all missed.

Yep, as it turns out, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex dropped a subtle yet sweet message into their big day, which one royal fan took to Twitter to point out. "Yoooo I am so embarrassed. I was watching the royal wedding for the 200th time and it’s only now that I noticed the licence plate," the fan wrote, alongside a photo of the couple driving away from the ceremony in a car with a licence plate that reads: "E190518".

But some followers still didn't quite get what the cryptic message meant, until another fan explained. "Its their wedding date," the fan tweeted, "Established 19th of May 2018".

How did we not spot this!?

Thankfully, we weren't alone in our obliviousness, with plenty of other fans questioning how they'd overlooked the hidden message. "Awww! I never knew. Thanks for sharing," said one fan, "Meghan and Harry are so intentional in everything they do. Just special."

"I had to look at the picture for 5 minutes-but finally figured it out!!!!" added another follower, with someone else tweeting: "I've seen it 1000 times and would have never noticed it if it wasn't for your post."

But, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are no strangers when it comes to subtle symbolism. Earlier this year in fact, the couple appeared on the cover of TIME magazine, leading many fans to point out the hidden details in their photoshoot.

One of the biggest themes that fans picked up on in the photos, was the strong presence of nature and trees. The images appear to have been taken in what looks like the Sussexes' back garden, in the same area where they shot their Lilibet pregnancy announcement – under a 'tree of life'. Nature and trees seem to be somewhat symbolic to the couple, possibly representing their newfound 'freedom' and peace of mind away from royal life (they stepped down as Senior Royals last year).

Others commented on the Duke and Duchess' positioning on the cover, with Meghan standing in front of Harry. Plenty have remarked on whether or not this could be a subtle nod to the fact the couple champion feminism and routinely support causes that specifically benefit girls and women around the world.

It all makes sense once you've spotted it!
