We all used to eye up the sparkly costumes in our nearest Disney store and dream of a time we might one day go to Disneyland ourselves.

But former designer and dad Nephi Garcia has done this and way, way more by making his kids amazing costumes - and taking them to Disneyland in them 128 times last year. Yep, 128 times.

Now the 32-year-old’s incredible costumes have gained such fame that he makes them for a living.

He told the Daily Mail: ‘A year and a half ago we were having a hard day and went to Disneyland and I decided to make a costume for my daughter Lili.

‘She got so much attention that we decided to make an Instagram page - Designer Daddy.

'People were calling me and commissioning me to make costumes for them and their own children so I quit my job as a retail manager to focus on doing it full time.’

Previously a couture designer who worked on high-end fashion shows, Garcia decided to prioritise his family over his work. Now he spends his time designing these Disney-inspired costumes - especially for his daughter Lili (six), his sons Eddy and Leo (two and one) as well as his wife Bethanie, 27.
