The cast of Derry Girls have reunited for a new sketch in aid of Comic Relief - and it's just in time for St Patrick's Day too.

Stars Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Nicola Coughlan, Jamie-Lee O’Donnell, Louisa Harland and Dylan Llewellyn are supporting this year's Red Nose Day and have filmed a hilarious seven-minute skit.

We don't want to give it all away, but the five brainstorm how best to raise money for this year's Red Nose Day - which is on Friday 19th March - and there's a whole host of 'interesting' ideas thrown around about how best to get people to part with their cash.

There's talk of a finger puppet show and a sponsored silence and a of a 'snogging challenge'. Nicola, who we've most recently seen on screen in Bridgerton, mentions she's mates with Regé-Jean Page (who plays the dashing Duke of Hastings) but her fellow castmates aren't convinced. Or amused.

The clip ends with Nicola on the phone to Comic Relief icon Sir Lenny Henry - but what does he think of their ideas? It's worth a watch to find out...

Red Nose Day is on Friday 19th March, the entire merchandise range including the 100% plastic-free Red Noses, Pin Badges, Wristbands and more can be found at selected Sainsbury’s stores and online.

By purchasing any of the official Red Nose Day merchandise range, shoppers will be helping support people in the UK and around the world, and help tackle child poverty, homelessness, domestic abuse and mental health stigma.
