Demi Moore shone at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (5 January) as she walked the red carpet in a statuesque gold dress.

We couldn't help but notice that her look was reminiscent of a Golden Globe itself, and that Demi has essentially arrived dressed as the award she hoped to win. Iconic.

The strapless gold dress was made up of swirling panels which joined together to cast a spell-binding silhouette, finishing with a sweep of sparkles in the centre. Could her look be the fashion equivalent of manifesting your dreams?

Whether intentional or not, Demi took home the Golden Globe for 'Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy' for her role in the satirical body horror film The Substance.

Demi's win was well-deserved after such a stellar performance, and was a milestone in her career to date, as she referenced in her acceptance speech.

“I've been doing this a long time – like over 45 years – and this is the first time I've ever won anything as an actor," she told the audience as she collected her award on stage.

Demi had stiff competition in the category, as she was up against big names from more of the most popular films of the moment including Amy Adams, for Nightbitch, Cynthia Erivo, for Wicked and Zendaya for Challengers.

The Substance was also nominated in a number of other categories (five in total) including 'Best Screenplay' and 'Best Film - Musical or Comedy'. Coralie Fargeat was up for the 'Best Director' award while Demi's co-star Margaret Qualley was nominated for 'Best Supporting Actress'.
