Remember the first lockdown, when celebrities got really bored and started dyeing their hair all the colours of the rainbow? Pastel pink was the big hit, but let's not forget the two-tone trend (as seen on Ruby Rose, Pixie Geldof and Georgia May Jagger), and the fact Kylie Jenner went from brunette to Barbie blonde in the blink of an eye.

Buzzcut season also made a return, with Ruby Rose and Halsey both shaving off their hair and dyeing it a stunning marbled design. And another celeb who's not afraid to lose her locks is Demi Lovato.

After hosting the People's Choice Awards back in November with a new platinum-blonde 'do (rather than her usual jet-black colour), the singer delivered fans a double-whammy surprise by revealing a shaved pixie crop on Instagram shortly after. "I did a thing," she captioned the post, running her fingers through her new layers to reveal the skin-glimpsing buzzcut underneath.

She looked incredible, and deep down we hoped she wouldn't go growing it back any time soon. Well, Demi didn't disappoint - in fact, she's just upgraded her shaved pixie cut by dyeing it a beautiful pastel pink colour.

She filmed a short selfie in which she blew a kiss to the camera and ran her fingers through her new candy floss coloured, razor-cut layers, tagging in the same stylist behind her original pixie cut transformation. We're not going to lie, we wish we could fly to Hollywood right now and sit in her chair ourselves...

Demi's fans totally approved of her new colour overhaul, with one commenting: "pinkkkkkkkkkkkk 💕💕💕💕💕 and another adding: "PINKVATO IS BACK OMGGGG"

One fan said what we're all thinking: "Well we already knew but just to confirm...Can pull anything off 🔥🔥🔥"

Yep, she really can...
