Declan Donnelly enjoys rare date night with wife Ali - see photos

Declan Donnelly and wife Ali Astall enjoyed a night off from parenting duties on Wednesday, when they attended a glitzy London event at Mayfair hotspot Langan's Brasserie.

The couple, who welcomed their second child back in July, partied at Elizabeth Day's launch of her new book, Friendaholic – Confessions of a Friendship Addict, which was also attended by the likes of Cressida Bonas and Trinny Woodall.

Dad-of-two Dec, 47, looked sharp in an all-black outfit while his beautiful wife Ali echoed him with leather-effect trousers and a black blazer.

Their joint appearance comes eight months after the lovebirds welcomed their son Jack. They are also parents to daughter Isla, four.

When little Jack was born, the star shared an adorable photo of a tiny baby hand clutching onto his fingers, which he captioned with an emotional message.

He wrote: "Shortly before 10am yesterday, 23.7.2022, Ali and I welcomed the arrival of our son, Jack Anthony Alphonsus, a very welcome ray of light. He is wonderful and Isla is beyond excited to be a big sister! D x."

While he has admitted to finding parenthood a challenge, Dec appears to love being a dad and has previously brought baby Isla and his wife Ali over to Australia with him while filming I’m a Celebrity.

Dec found love with his manager Ali in 2013. The pair went out for a year before Dec popped the question in November 2014 when they were working in Australia. The lovebirds married in a beautiful ceremony in Dec's Newcastle hometown back in 2015.

Holly Willoughby, Fearne Cotton, Ashley Roberts, Dermott O'Leary, Phillip Schofield, Marvin and Rochelle Humes and Vernon Kay and Tess Daly were just some of the celebrity guests who were spotted arriving at the wedding - as well as the groom's best man and comedy partner Ant.
