In March 2019, American singer Halsey, known for songs like ‘Colors’ and ‘New Americana’, added the words she/they to her Instagram bio. In a post, also on Instagram, she wrote: “For those asking RE: my updated Instagram bio, I am happy with either pronouns.” - 3/11
Elliot Page
The actor known for movies like ‘Juno’ or series like ‘The Umbrella Academy’ revealed they were trans in 2020. Elliot - formerly known as Ellen Page - also asked fans and public to refer to him with the pronouns he/they. In a 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, Elliot described his inspiring trans journey. He said: "On some level it feels just like the most miraculous, amazing thing and it also is just sort of the experience of oh, there I am." - 4/11

In 2020, ‘The Crown’ star Emma Corrin added “she/they” to her social media platforms. Emma explained to The New York Times that portraying Princess Diana in the Netflix drama played a big part in her pronoun decision. In 2021, pop star Demi Lovato surprised their social media followers revealing they don’t identify as male or female. In a Twitter post, Demi said: "I am proud to let you know that I identify as non-binary & will officially be changing my pronouns to they/them moving forward." - 6/11

In 2019, the voice behind tracks like ‘I’m Not the Only One’ and ‘I Feel Love’, announced on Twitter their decision to classify their pronouns. In a candid post, Sam wrote: “Today is a good day so here goes. I’ve decided I am changing my pronouns to THEY/THEM after a lifetime of being at war with my gender I’ve decided to embrace myself for who I am, inside and out.” - 7/11

British model-and-actress Cara Delevingne has identified as genderfluid in the past. In an interview with ELLE, Cara talked about it after being asked if her pronouns were still she/they. Cara said: “Nobody’s ever asked me that! Yes? I believe every single one of us have masculine and feminine in us. But for me, with the times we’re in right now, it would feel weird to say I’m anything else when I am a woman, even though I understand I have masculine and feminine energy.” - 10/11

‘Queer Eye’ star Jonathan Van Ness is first on our list. The grooming expert on the show, who always wows us with their fashion sense, came out as non-binary in 2019. In an interview with Out magazine, Jonathan said: “The older I get, the more I think that I'm nonbinary — I'm gender nonconforming. ‘Homecoming’ star Janelle Monae is last on our list. While Janelle identifies as non-binary, in a previous interview the singer talked about how the use of certain pronouns is not a priority.
