Falling off the diet wagon can leave many of us feeling depressed and tempted to seek out an unhealthy quick-fix.
British comedienne Dawn French, who made headlines last year when she lost seven-and-a-half stone, has revealed that while she's put on weight recently, she won't be letting it get her down.
In fact, the Vicar of Dibley star said she's "perfectly happy" with her body and won't be seeking out any radical diets or fitness programmes just because she's allowed herself a few more of her favourite foods.
Speaking to Woman magazine, Dawn mused: “I’ve lost seven-and-a-half stone since I started making an effort and recently put about two back on.
“I lost the weight by denying myself quite a lot of things and recently I haven’t denied those things as much."

She continued: “I’ll always be a fat girl and I am perfectly happy with that.”
Talking about a recent trip to the romantic capital of Paris, Dawn said she allowed herself a few treats during her stay.
“Bread and pasta and potatoes are my weakness," she said. "I went to Paris recently and I wasn’t going to not eat bread.”
Dawn has previously spoken out over how her shape-up gave her a new lease of life and that she now "understands" her body more than ever before.

She said: "I am very fond of this body – it’s served me well and it’s never disappointed me.
"I understand it, I know it and I even like it now it’s all saggy, it’s a mark of my journey this far."
