Davina McCall has flung open her fridge and cupboards to reveal what she eats in a day.
In a new video posted to her YouTube channel, the Masked Singer judge, TV presenter and fitness entrepreneur said she had lots of requests from her followers on the topic – but felt a little awkward about sharing her day on a plate. Even though her diet is much more realistic, and fad-free, than the eating plans followed by some celebrities.
Davina admitted she 'felt immense pressure there' because 'you're going to either in some way follow me and what I'm eating but, at the same time, I do feel I have to be completely honest, so if I eat a sticky toffee pudding then I need to show you [that] because that is what I eat and I think it's important that you know that'.
In fact, Davina's attitude to food is all about balance. 'I eat loads of different stuff,' she said. 'The majority of the time I try to eat wholegrain foods but, you know, we have white bagels...and packet noodles.'
You'll also find seeds, nuts [her go-to snack], rice, pesto, pasta, popcorn and grains in her kitchen cupboards. While her fridge is full of hummus, lots of vegetables, cheese, bacon, chorizo and falafel.
She went on to say that lockdown has impacted her eating habits, something lots of us can attest to.
'There's sometimes a few extra treats here and there,' Davina admitted, showing the camera a box of Krispy Kreme donuts.'The Lotus biscuit Krispy Kreme is orgasmic', she joked.
She also cooked up a chicken and potato bake for dinner, and shared her favourite lunch which is a 'picky plate' made up of hummus, halloumi, falafel and salad.
