David Beckham shared a wholesome of selfie of a home-cooked meal with his mum
David Beckham took to Instagram to share a wholesome selfie with his Mum, Sandra as the pair enjoyed dinner together.
The dad of four posted a photo with his own mum yesterday (16 May), explaining that she had cooked his favourite meal from his childhood.
He revealed that his top dish to eat growing up was gammon with pineapple and a fried egg, alongside chips, coleslaw and mushy peas.
His full plate can be seen in the photo along with some baguettes of crusty bread and a can of coke. For dessert, David added that he tucked into a jam doughnut and cup of tea, to complete his list of childhood favourite treats.
In a caption alongside the photo David wrote, “Can’t beat dinner with mum,” with a red heart emoji. He also tagged his sister, Joanne Beckham in the post saying, “Sorry @jo_jo_beckham_ the 👑 was home for dinner 😂,” presumably referring to himself as prince or king with the crown emoji in a joke to his younger sibling.
Famous friends as well as fans left comments on the post with Gordon Ramsey writing, “I’m on my way.” One follower said, “Everything’s well with the world after dinner with mum,” while another added, “Beautiful picture, my mum used to make the best egg and salad cream sandwiches, mums are the greatest.”
“So sweet!” wrote another.
David often shares snaps with members of his family to instagram, including cute couple snaps with Victoria Beckham and photos with his four children. However, he doesn't often include photos with the other Beckhams, such as his mum and sister, making this a rarer snap.
