David Beckham gives affectionate shout out to wife Victoria at London Fashion Week bash
Victoria Beckham firmly put to bed those rocky romance rumours as she stepped out to support husband David at a closing dinner for London Fashion Week Men’s.
The A list couple arrived hand-in-hand for the GQ bash at Selfridges’ Brasserie of Light on Monday night where they put on an affectionate display among friends.
Victoria proudly posted a video of David giving a speech, in which he received huge cheers on giving his fashion designer wife a shout out.
“For myself this is the first time I have addressed a London crowd with my BFC [British Fashion Council] hat on so I’m very proud of that,” he said.
“I want to thank everybody with the BFC for bringing me into this role and this industry because obviously my wife is part of this industry so I’m very proud and very privileged.”
The ex-sportsman, who this week unveiled a Peaky Blinders inspired fashion line with the Kent & Curwen label he co-owns, looked dapper in a grey tweed suit which he teamed with a flat cap.
Victoria looked chic in navy flared trousers with a matching blouse and heels.
They were joined by a string of celebrity friends including Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana who is expecting their fifth child.
It marked the couple’s first public appearance since announcing their baby news on New Year’s Day.
Sir Elton John’s husband David Furnish was also at the bash as well as Maya Jama, Tinie Tempah, Olly Murs and Tom Hughes.
David wrapped up the evening with a late night snack of cheese on toast, finished off with a splash of Lea and Perrins Worcestershire Sauce.
He posted a video of the “yummy” treat on Instagram, posting: “A little late night snack.”
