Daughter of Manchester bombing victims hits out at ISIS bride

The daughter of two Manchester bombing victims has hit out at ISIS bride Shamima Begum after claiming the terrorist attack was “fair justification”.

Alex Klis lost both her parents, Angelika and Marcin, in the Manchester Arena bombing after an Ariana Grande concert.

Speaking on Tuesday’s episode of This Morning, Klis expressed her anger over Begum’s comments and claimed she needs a reality check.

On whether Begum should be allowed to return to the UK following her decision to flee to Syria at the age of 15, Klis said: “She’s made her bed hasn’t she. I think she should remain where she is.

“For starters, I don’t think she’s being honest. I think the only reason she wants to come back is she couldn’t stay where she was. She said herself she had a good life there. She enjoyed it there. I think what is the point of coming back if you enjoy it so much there?”

Klis has since become the legal guardian of her younger sister Patricia. Host Ruth Langsford asked her what life has been like for them since losing their parents, to which she replied: “I’ve had to grow up overnight. There wasn’t the option. It was autopilot the whole way. We’re used to it now, we just live our lives and get on.”

She added: “There’s already so many questions as to whether this country did enough to stop the suicide bomber in Manchester. I don’t think this country can take another risk.”

Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan recently launched a scathing attack of Begum, claiming that she should “rot in hell” after she stated she wanted to return to the UK with her newborn son.

Meanwhile, EastEndersDanny Dyer has also weighed in as an unlikely commentator on the debate, arguing that Begum should be allowed back into the UK and that she must be “lost in her soul”.
