Just last month headlines were screaming about Love Island's Dani Dyer and boyfriend Sammy Kimmence being ready to walk down the aisle. But it sadly wasn't to be as the pair have now split up and Dani has erased all trace of her ex from her Instagram grid.
According to reports, the couple's ten-month relationship is said to have become strained over the last few weeks, with the pair having a series of arguments that eventually "reached boiling point".
"Dani was besotted with Sammy and they were madly in love but recently their relationship has become more like a nightmare," a source told The Sun Online.
"And over a period of weeks tensions between Dani and Sammy reached boiling point."
They added: "She decided it was best for her to just end it. She was sick of the drama and had enough of the fighting."
Dani's representative confirmed the split news to the publication.
Dani and Sammy dated before she headed into the Love Island villa, where she fell for Jack Fincham. Dani and the former pen salesman ended up splitting in April of last year, and later that month she and Sammy were pictured together in public for the first time.
The following month, Dani found herself clapping back at trolls who told her she should have stayed with Jack under a picture of her and Sammy. "I’m not going to delete anyone’s comments. You all can say what you want to say honestly we live in a free world," she wrote in an IG comment.
"But I’m so f happy. I ain’t living a life to prove to people or to fake to people I am something I am not I’ve always been real.
"Some people like it some people don’t. I’m focusing on number one. No time for anything no plans made it’s just happened and you can judge all you want. But come on I’m the real mf judge Judy."
Dani is yet to publicly address the split, but she did share a fire picture of herself on Instagram on Sunday alongside this inspiring caption: "Love yourself first and everything else falls into place❤️."
She also hinted at the break up on Twitter, writing: "Life can really be tough sometimes & it might take years to figure it out, but everything happens for a reason."
Break ups are never easy, so we hope Dani's doing OK!
