Dancing on Ice stars Kevin Kilbane and Brianne Delcourt have shared the sweet, unusual name of their baby daughter, a few weeks after Brianne gave birth.

Kevin and Brianne, who met during the 2020 series of Dancing on Ice, welcomed their second child together back in April.

Now, as Brianne continues to recover and adjust to life as a mum of three, the DOI professional has revealed the inspiration behind their baby girl's name Keavy.

"Keavy is obviously named after Kevin and the Anne is named after me too," Brianne told OK!. "As soon as we saw her we knew she was definitely a Keavy."

Keavy wasn't always the plan, however, with Kevin explaining that he wanted to give his daughter an "Irish name with an Irish spelling".

"I wanted an Irish name with an Irish spelling. Bri wasn't totally against it, but she didn't want to make her child's life more complicated than it needs to be," he said.

"We'd been pretty much settled on Emily Ava for more or less six months of the pregnancy and then after the ultrasound, when we got the little still shot, Bri said she was feeling Keavy a lot more."

Adding that Keavy was still "a joint decision" by the couple, Kevin said: "It's a beautiful name and we're delighted with it."

Kevin and Brianne met on the ITV skating competition two years ago, where they were the fourth pair eliminated from their series.

Their relationship moved faster than a triple toe loop after that, as they went from their first date to moving in with each other in just one day.

"There was an attraction with Brianne the first time I met her, but it was way more than that," Kevin admitted. "Everything clicked."

Dancing on Ice airs on ITV.
