Dakota Johnson wore a see-through corset that made everyone gasp

Dakota Johnson, please step forward for being the most fashionable celebrity at a Hollywood event.

The Persuasion actress has become famous for taking risks with her red carpet attire, and this one is no exception. Back in March, she stepped out to attend the premiere of her film Cha Cha Real Smooth at the 2022 SXSW Conference and Festival in Austin. Instead of wearing a glam dress like usual, she shocked folks with a bold patterned suit.

The ensemble featured tones of brown and yellow accompanied by a zipper closure. But the part of the outfit that stood out the most was a see-through crystal corset the Fifty Shades of Grey star wore underneath.

When she's not busy rocking the red carpet, Dakota spends her time getting fit with her trainer Luke Worthington, a sports scientist, PT, nutritionist, and strength and conditioning specialist who works with Dakota (he also works with Jodie Comer, Rooney Mara and Winnie Harlow).

And during filming for Fifty Shades Darker, Dakota worked with celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson and New York–based trainer Kacy Duke, who told Vogue that Dakota's workouts 'hit all three planes of motion: sagittal, frontal, and transverse.' They also included, 'mixed yoga classes with a 45-minute personalised routine from Duke. Key were light 3-to-5-pound hand weights; a 4-pound medicine ball, which she used for side lunges; and a chair to hold onto.'

She also worked with another trainer while prepping for 50 Shades Freed, Ramona Braganza (who also trains Halle Berry, Amanda Seyfried, Anne Hathaway, and Kate Beckinsale). Braganza led Dakota through five workouts a week, per Cosmopolitan.

'Although we worked on building out her shoulders, keeping her butt, and toning her abs and arms, the main goal was to get her moving 30 minutes a day,' the trainer said.

Braganza also shared that a typical workout for Dakota would start with a warm up for five to 10 minutes on a treadmill, then she would do three exercises in a row, then go back to cardio—and she used dance-inspired moves, Pilates, kickboxing, and yoga to keep sessions feeling fresh.

Of course, Dakota also eats a healthy and balanced diet, and follows what Braganza calls her 3-2-1 rule.

'It’s just proportions, when to eat, smaller meals, and more meals,' Braganza explained to Healthista. 'So things like having three meals a day, two snacks, and a minimum of one litre of water a day.' Makes sense to me!

Specifically, Dakota had a special meal-prep service deliver her food on set for the duration of the project to help her eat well. And Braganza told Cosmopolitan, that Dakota 'arranged it with a chef in Vancouver, who made meals that included lean meats, quinoa, and vegetables. She was also big on juices. Once she found the way she liked to eat, she ate that way for months.'

OK! Dakota's hard work at the gym clearly pays off.
