Dakota Johnson’s driver obviously dropped her off at the wrong location. That’s the only explanation for her outfit on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. Sitting down with the talk show host to discuss her new movie, How to Be Single.
The actress showed up in a frothy pink confection with whimsical details from Gucci. Featuring layers of ombré grey pink, the waist was cinched with a cartoon-like encrusted gold bow. As for the top, a frilly red and sequin collar added a sophisticated punch. She paired the Alesssandro Michele-designed number with open-toed gold heels from the Italian brand.

Johnson’s stylist, Kate Young, teased the piece on Instagram ahead of her appearance. And while a beautiful choice on the pair’s part, why not save the amazing gown for a red carpet? If that’s what Johnson’s wearing for a late night chat, then ball gowns and even better fashions must be in store for the rest of the upcoming film’s promotional tour.
