Daisy Edgar-Jones Just Co-Signed This High Street Hair Perfume
Suffice to say that Daisy Edgar-Jones has quickly cemented herself as the ultimate style muse this year. Whether it was her impressive Twisters press tour wardrobe with her covetable boho-inspired Chloé looks and diaphanous 16Arlington dresses, or her now signature curtain bangs and smokey eye make-up, it seems that whatever the Normal People star co-signs, the world is quick to follow.
Edgar-Jones has now turned her attention to a more affordable high-street beauty hero, and naturally, it's piqued the interest of the internet. In a new video, Edgar-Jones stars in a campaign created by filmmaker Fabien Baron, in which the actor and Brit It girl shines a light on a series of new hair perfumes created by high-street favourite, Zara.

Once considered a superfluous step, Edgar-Jones isn't the only one opting for a scented hair mist this season. Hair perfumes have been quickly quickly growing in popularity of late; no longer just a sensorial spritz with which to lure in passers by via the delicious waft of vanilla or heady notes of oud, they now offer up a level of scalp care, some have added protection, and others can even add hydration back into tired-looking, parched ends. 'A hair perfume is great because you can take it with you on-the-go, keep it in your purse, and use it to refresh yourself throughout the day (and your hair). It’s a total pick-me-up,' the celebrity hairstylist and industry stalwart, Guido Palau, tells ELLE UK.
Thought up by Palau and created in collaboration with legendary perfumer Jérôme Epinette, Zara's latest hair perfumes are now available in three unique aromas starring Edgar-Jones as the face of the new launch.
'I was really inspired by Daisy and her hair ever since I saw her in Normal People. I think she has the ultimate “cool girl” haircut and the way she wears it is so “today”. She was perfect for the new hair perfumes,' Palau says.
As for the hair perfume that gets Edgar-Jones' seal of approval? Edgar-Jones has professed her love for Dawn, the lighter fragrance of the trio which, according to the actor, resembles a new beginning; perhaps the perfect aroma for the New Year, in that case.
