According to the GoFundMe information posted by @awc_fishing, professional angler Andrew Cotton lost the love of his life, Miryea “Mimie” Bridges, in 2018 to stage 4 breast cancer.

Their son Fisher was still an infant when Mimie and Andrew received the difficult diagnosis on Mar. 26, 2018. Seven short months later, on Oct. 19, Mimie passed away.

Since then, Andrew and Fisher have kept Mimie’s memory alive by bringing her flowers and spreading breast cancer awareness.

Now the family’s touching story is going viral, and people around the world are showing an outpouring of love to the widower and his little boy.
