Cynthia Erivo, Phoebe Dynevor and Priyanka Chopra raise the style stakes at the 2021 BAFTAs

Cynthia Erivo, Phoebe Dynevor and Priyanka Chopra raised the style stakes at the 2021 BAFTAs.

The annual ceremony was a virtual affair this year, taking place over two nights. with only a handful of famous faces walking the red carpet ahead of the main prizegiving on Sunday night.

Clara Amfo presented the Saturday night event, while Edith Bowman and Dermot O’Leary fronted the festivities on Sunday, with Erivo, Dynevor and Chopra rocking show-stopping looks for the subdued ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Erivo wore a shimmering silver and gold sequin mini dress from Louis Vuitton's autumn/winter 2021 collection, and a swathe of jewels from the French fashion house's High Jewelry collection.

“What I love about this look is its playfulness. I love the painstaking detail that this dress is made with. It’s so fun," she told British Vogue.

Her make-up artist Terrell Mullin shared images on social media of her breath-taking metallic look, and her stylist Jason Bolden also posted snaps from the impromptu photoshoot held at The Ritz hotel before the ceremony.

Chopra was accompanied by her husband Nick Jonas, and rocked two outfits for the BAFTAs red carpet. The first was a bold embroidered red jacket teamed with a white wrap skirt, before changing into a more sustainable look by Ronald van der Kemp.

Chopra wore a black silk mikado jacket embellished with hand-painted butterflies, paired with a plissé skirt designer’s fall 2020 couture collection which was made entirely from repurposed materials.

Bridgerton star Dynevor stunned in an asymmetric one-shouldered black gown by Louis Vuitton, Rose Byrne wowed in a tailored Miu Miu two-piece suit, Andra Day rocked a green Elie Saab gown, and Renee Zellweger wore a silver fishtail dress, complete with a dramatic neckline, by Armani Prive.
