‘Tik Tok’ singer Kesha was filmed while drinking some of her urine for the MTV documentary ‘Kesha: My Crazy Beautiful Life’. She later discussed the episode during an interview with BBC Radio 1. She said: "I was told drinking my own pee was good, I was trying to be healthy. Somebody tried to take my pee away from me, and I said, 'That is mine!' So I snatched it up and took a chug and it was really gross, so I don't do it anymore."

Former baseball player Moises Alou, who played for the San Francisco Giants and the New York Mets, had a very particular technique while playing. He did not drink urine, but he has used it for health purposes. According to ESPN, he used to urinate in his own hands to prevent and alleviate calluses to make sure he would be at his best for matches and training sessions.

The ‘Like a Prayer’ singer surprised her Instagram followers by revealing that she also drinks her golden liquid. Netflix’s documentary ‘The Dirt’, which revolves around the heavy metal band Mötley Crue, shows a scene where Tony Cavalero, in the role of Ozzy Osbourne, snorts ants and licks his own urine on the floor, daring Nikki Sixx (Douglas Booth) to do the same. The scene left rock fans speechless, but also questioning if the scene was made up. Page Six eventually gave them the answer, after asking Nikki Sixx if it was real. The musician said: “Of course. We were a wild young band and he kind of took us under his wing. We thought we could compete with that, but you can’t with Ozzy. He won.”

The former England rugby player and current husband of Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter Zara Tindall, traveled to Costa Rica as part of his participation on the survival reality show ‘Mission Survive’. In the show, the contestants have to take extreme tests set by adventurer Bear Grylls, as well as deal with adverse conditions. One of the experiences shows Mike drinking his own urine. According to the Daily Mirror, he claimed that the other cast members used to “drink each other’s” urine on the show.

The retired Mexican boxer Juan Manuel Márquez revealed that he drank his own urine to help him prepare better for fights during his career including those against the legendary Floyd Mayweather. According to The Sun, he said: “This is something I have been doing for the past six or seven fights, and it has given me good results. If you drink or inject yourself with vitamins, you release them every time you go to the bathroom. Why not put them back in your body orally?”

The British actress Sarah Miles, known for her work in ‘Ryan’s Daughter’, admitted in 2007 that she had been drinking her own urine for more than 30 years for health reasons. According to Great British Life, Sarah's habit started when she got it in the form if injection in a California hospital. After noticing it had cured all of her allergies, she got interested in knowing how she could be take advantage of it once her treatment ended. Doctors recommended that she drink it and she has done so ever since.

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar surprised his Instagram followers by revealing that he drinks cow urine every day. In an Instagram live session along with Bear Grylls, the Hindi cinema actor said that his habit has health purposes based on the traditional Indian medicine, Ayurveda, which states that cow urine contains lots of beneficial minerals.

Speaking of Bear Grylls, ‘Fast & Furious’ actress Michelle Rodriguez appeared in his reality TV survival show ‘Running Wild with Bear Grylls’, where she had to be part of a very extreme task. In one of the episodes, after running out of food, Michelle boiled a dead mouse in her own urine. She ate it and proceeded to drink the “broth.” At some point, she told Grylls: “I’m kinda happy it’s my p*** and not yours."

In 2017, while in the gym, “The Rock” posted a video on Instagram showing a bottle of his own pee next to him and revealed that he urinates a lot while working out. His fans quickly began wondering if the actor actually drinks the golden liquid. The answer is no. Johnson explained that it is annoying to interrupt his routine to go to the bathroom, and that his gym, in fact, does not have a toilet. He told Esquire: "It's not a water bottle that I've actually purchased solely for water that you wash and clean when you're done using it. These are just bottles that I'm no longer using."
