Cult US fashion label Reformation, which is known for its sustainable practices, seriously covetable summer frocks and legion of A-list fans, announced via Instagram yesterday that it would be launching extended sizes, now going from US size 0 to a size 22. The brand also said that it was "sorry" not to have done this sooner, knowing that it is "unfair" to not have been more inclusive.

"For the last year or so we’ve been receiving a lot of comments and requests for more inclusive sizing – and rightly so," the brand said on an Instagram post. "It’s obviously unfair that we’ve only been offering clothing to a limited size range. So today we’re super happy to launch a spring collection available in sizes 0-22, in collaboration with Ali Tate Cutler."

The brand recently launched a petite collection and baby sizes, but this plus-size range will not be a new division of its own, but is the first step in making the main line more inclusive in terms of sizing.

For now though, the 17-piece collection will be limited edition, marking the first step into fully launching the category. The brand told Elle US that it would welcome feedback from customers to fine tune the fit.

The new campaign is fronted by model Ali Tate Cutler, who shared her love for the label on her own Instagram account.

"This company has been an all time fave of mine because yes, their styles are freakishly cute, but also because they make their clothes sustainably and transparently. Talk about changing the fashion industry!"

The collection is available to shop on Reformation now.
