Crystal Dunn Celebrates the End of the NWSL Season in High Fashion

Where American professional soccer player Crystal Dunn is concerned, the end of the 2023 season has brought somewhat of a question mark. She announced just days after the NWSL champion, NJ/NY Gotham FC, hoisted their trophy that she is leaving the Portland Thorns after three seasons.
While the announcement created a little bit of a flurry among her fans, who are left wondering if she intends to retire from pro soccer entirely or simply find a new team, the 31-year-old herself seems at ease and ready for whatever’s to come. She attended a celebration following the NWSL Championship in the highest spirits and the absolute best fashion, too.
Dunn stepped out in a simple black fitted midi dress with a scoop neckline. She paired it with a pair of black strappy block heels and a delicate diamond necklace. In an Instagram post that she shared from the evening, she playfully posed beside Merritt Mathias, a fellow NWSL player for Angel City FC in Los Angeles.
The athlete certainly brought her A-game where fashion was concerned, but her glam was just as much of a statement. She pulled her dark curls into a messy half-up hairdo, which paired perfectly with the simple, yet elevated black dress. Her style caught the attention of her followers, who shared their praise in the comments.
“Ummmm 🔥🔥🔥🔥,” one simply wrote.
“Gorgeous!!” another gushed.
“California looks good on you!" a fan said.
Whatever her next steps might be, we know one thing for sure: We can always count on Dunn to make a fashion statement no matter where she ends up. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for the star.
