If you thought nabbing an invite to the Kardashian family's homes was hard enough, wait until you hear about the extensive Covid-19 testing protocols you need to complete in order to get face-to-face with the stars.

TV presenter Andy Cohen recently opened up about his latest visit to one of the famous reality star's home for his new E! docuseries, For Real: The Story of Reality TV, and explained the rigorous testing levels he had to pass in order to gain access to the Kardashians.

'I was driven to this medical centre in the [San Fernando] Valley, where I got a Covid test,' the Emmy-winning producer claimed on a recent episode of the Earwolf podcast Bi*** Sesh.

Cohen continued, adding that after being driven to the medical centre he asked some questions about how he would find out his Covid results prior to meeting the famous family.

'And I said [to the medical staff], "Are you gonna give me the results now?" And the guy said, "No. They're gonna take you to the house. I think they do this for all the visitors".'

The presenter said he was then driven to Khloé Kardashian's house - which is directly next to 'momager' Kris Jenner's house - and located in a guard-gated Hidden Hills neighbourhood.

'You got to through all these gates,' Cohen added. 'I had to get a Covid test before I got there. And I said, "Oh you wanna give me the results of the Covi test?" They go, "Go to Khloé 's and if the second gate opens, you're negative. And the gate open and I was like, "Alright, I don't have Covid. I'm good."

The news of this extensive Covid-19 testing protocol is more than welcome after the family came under fire last year on several occasions for travelling and attending parties during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

Months after California had been under a non-essential travel ban, with the state advising citizens to avoid traveling unless it is urgent or for business, the Kardashian family were seen on various out-of-state excursions, including a six-day getaway to a private island for Kim Kardashian's 40th birthday.

At the time, the mother-of-four noted that her family and guests underwent Covid tests in order to attend the shindig, tweeting in October: 'After 2 weeks of multiple health screens and asking everyone to quarantine, I surprised my closest inner circle with a trip to a private island where we could pretend things were normal just for a brief moment in time.'

Despite the explanation, fans couldn't help but mock the reality for being slightly out of touch with reality during the health crisis.

We're glad to see the Kardashian family following an extensive Covid-19 screening process in order to continue working.
