Courteney Cox casually showed up and put in a shift at the Friends gift shop
Imagine popping into the Friends gift shop on the show's set, just to pick up a Central Perk mug or a Smelly Cat stuffed toy, and when you get to the tills, it's *actual* Courteney Cox serving you. Well, that's what happened to gift shop visitors last week, when the actor popped into the store for a shift in between filming scenes.
Late last week the star posted a video on Instagram which had fans cracking up. In it, she is seen asking when her next scene is, and after being told she has an hour to wait she heads off to work in the various tourist hotspots on the Friends set. First she serves fans in the gift shop, before moving onto managing the car park and then onto serving coffees.
The video, which Courteney captioned, "When I’m not acting… #inbetweenthescenes" and was soundtracked with Dolly Parton's "9 to 5", shows a number of fans taking selfies with the star and generally staring at her adoringly as she serves them on the tills or brings them their coffee.
Courteney is truly the biggest Friends fan ever, and we love her for it.
