Both the royals looked stunning on their visit, with The Countess wearing a blue floral print skirt and white blazer while The Princess opted for a pink and black outfit complete with a stylish hat.

As part of the trip, Princess Alexandra monumentally passed her patronage of Guide Dogs UK onto The Countess. Previously, The Princess had held this patronage since 1957. Their rare appearance together was marked with the signing of a visitor's book and meeting Guide Dog UK trainers and dogs, in addition to formally opening the new guide dogs centre.
