The Countess of Wessex cuddles up with guide dogs on Royal visit
The Countess of Wessex visited the Guide Dogs National Centre in Leamington Spa on 11 November.
The Countess was given a tour of the centre, including seeing the hard work of all those involved in training Guide Dogs. However, the special part of the trip came when Sophie was seen cuddling some very cute puppies! The Countess grinned and laughed as she was given some kisses and cuddles from her very sweet companions.
The Countess appeared to be a real hit with the puppies, with one even giving her a lick on the nose!
She also met older Guide Dogs, seeing the valuable work they do in assisting those with partial or full sight loss.
It appears she was given the sign of approval from the fully-grown dogs, too, as one also sweetly kissed her on the nose.
For her visit, Sophie wore a beautiful dark purple dress. She also swapped her stylish grey coat for a lab coat at the Guide Dogs Centre.
Earlier in the day, The Countess had attended a Remembrance service, paying her respect and tributes by laying a wreath and saluting at a Remembrance Parade.
The Countess of Wessex is the Royal Patron for Guide Dogs UK.
