Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street's Yasmeen Metcalfe will suffer a shock collapse at the prison next week.
Yasmeen (Shelley King) sparks concern from her lawyer Imran Habeeb when her health takes a sudden turn for the worse.
New spoilers on Coronation Street's official website have revealed that next week's episodes will be big for the ongoing Yasmeen and Geoff storyline.
First of all, Yasmeen's prison friend Lucie (Nicola Duffett) gives her a book on coercive control.
Lucie is clearly concerned for Yasmeen and doesn't want her to go back to Geoff. This comes amid Geoff's cruel attempts to manipulate Yasmeen over the phone.
Yasmeen also gets a surprise visit from a mystery newcomer.
The woman claims to be from a charity that has taken an interest in Yasmeen's case. However, when they come face-to-face in the visiting room, Yasmeen is shocked to discover the real truth about who this newcomer is.
When Imran (Charlie de Melo) arrives at the prison to discuss the latest legal proceedings, Yasmeen tells him about her surprise visitor and the possible implications.
As Yasmeen talks to Imran, she collapses to the ground in agonising pain. Will she be okay?
Coronation Street currently airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm on ITV.
Organisations including Women's Aid can provide further support and information on coercive control or coercive behaviour.
