Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street has confirmed that Yasmeen Metcalfe will meet with the police again next week, as the show's coercive control storyline continues.

Yasmeen (Shelley King) is about to hear some more home truths about her husband Geoff, who has been abusing her in disturbing scenes over the past few months.

New spoilers on Coronation Street's official website have now hinted at another turning point for Yasmeen.

Yasmeen's granddaughter Alya (Sair Khan) recently went to the police over Geoff, hoping to find out whether he has targeted other women in the past.

So far, Yasmeen has been reluctant to get involved with this, not wanting to think badly of Geoff (Ian Bartholomew).

However, when Yasmeen meets with two police officers next week and agrees to hear what they have to say, they give her the full official details of Geoff's criminal past.

Will it dawn on Yasmeen that she's in serious danger with her evil husband?

This week's episodes will see Yasmeen consider walking out on Geoff to go on holiday without him, while the long-term future of the storyline will feature another big twist.

Coronation Street now airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm on ITV.
