Company creates colour-changing hair dye
Choosing which colour to dye your hair can sometimes be an overwhelming process, especially with so many options.
However, London-based cosmetics company The Unseen Beauty is questioning why we have to choose between colours when we could have them all.
The company has merged beauty and science to create a colour-changing hair dye that responds to heat and sunlight.
"Together with Schwarzkopf Professional we formulated Colour Alchemy with a view to put something truly innovative into the hands of our community," explained Lauren Bowker, founder of The Unseen Beauty.
She added: "The exciting part comes now when you create - inviting you to join this growing boundary-pushing ecosystem. The colour-changing properties are a result of a special formula of micro prisms which, under the right temperatures, shrink and expand to emit different shades and highlights that reflect different wavelengths of light in a manner that has never before been seen in a hair product.
"To achieve the colours, the user simply paints or sponges the Colour Alchemy gel-cream formula into their hair, lets it dry and waits for the magic to happen. Colour-changing triggers include sunlight, body temperature, movement or the use of heat hair tools."
The collection is cruelty-free and doesn't use bleach.
