We're no strangers to a Colin the Caterpillar variation, whether he's in the form of a frappé or had a makeover for Halloween, we'll love him unconditionally either way. And even more when he's partnered up with Marks & Spencer's precious Connie the Caterpillar, too.

So naturally, you can imagine how we responded to finding out that the pair had been reimagined to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee...

Brand-new for summer 2022 and in celebration of Her Majesty, M&S is selling two Corgi and Queen Connie the Caterpillar Cakes.

Featuring the classic chocolate sponge rolls, complete with a traditional chocolate buttercream and a milk chocolate casing, this time Connie is found wearing a purple ceremonial robe with a fur trim, and a crown. While, the Corgi cake (aka, Colin) comes bearing a Union Jack cape and milk chocolate face. Cute, or what?

Marks & Spencer's Corgi and Queen Connie the Caterpillar Cakes are available online and in-stores for £12, offering up to 10 servings.

M&S isn't the only supermarket retailer to jump on the corgi train, Morrisons is also selling a pooch-inspired cake and it's drop dead adorable...

Inspired by Her Majesty's beloved pet pooches, Morrisons has only gone and launched a corgi-shaped cake in celebration of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. And tbh, we couldn't be more obsessed!

This chocolate-covered swiss roll comes decorated with red, blue and white sprinkles and even features sweet edible face and boots with a Union Jack crown.
