You probably never wanted to think about this again, but cast your mind back to Easter 2020 when we heard that Colin The Caterpillar was getting an Easter makeover. We thought, “Oh, how cute. He’ll be wearing florals for spring (groundbreaking…), and he’ll come with little Easter eggs.”

God, how wrong we were… Colin rocked up dressed as a mix between the bunny from Donnie Darko and Wallace And Gromit’s were-rabbit mate, and children – and adults – feared for their lives getting him out of his box.

Luckily, the guys at Marks & Spencer realised the error of their ways and have reimagined an Easter Colin and this time he’s adorable.

This year, Easter Colin is Easter egg hunt-themed, so he comes dressed up to the nines in a little pink Easter top hat, complete with colourful egg decorations.

In the words of Baga Chipz... "Much betta."

But at least M&S is laughing about last year’s terrifying gaff. The press release says: “After the slight ahem controversy over his appearance last Easter, Colin The Caterpillar has put on his finery and scrubbed up for this year’s spring celebrations.”

You can pick up an Egg Hunt Colin the Caterpillar cake for £10 in stores, or mini versions of Easter Colins are also available. A five-pack of these can be hunted down in stores for £2.25.
