Coleen Rooney has touched down at Manchester Airport following her successful stint on I'm A Celebrity, but her husband Wayne was noticeably absent. The 38 year old star arrived in Manchester on Wednesday morning, ready to reunite with her family after her long flight from Australia. She was the first among the show's stars to return home after spending weeks filming the challenging reality show.

She was accompanied by her youngest sons, Kit, eight, and Cass, six, who had travelled Down Under with her parents to welcome her post-show. Coleen was spotted pushing a trolley loaded with suitcases. The mother of four opted for a casual look, donning a black vest top, loose trousers and a jacket, complemented by an oversized bag. Despite Wayne's absence, the mum of four was seen warmly embracing her co-star Alan Halsall's daughter as she waited for him at the airport.

In heartwarming photos, Coleen is seen hugging the young girl as they reunite with their families after weeks of separation. Her son was seen sporting her jungle hat paired with a blue tracksuit, while Kit was dressed in a similar black version.

Coleen secured a close second place, coming in just behind McFly's Danny Jones with 44.8% of the public vote compared to his winning 55.2%, while Reverend Richard Coles finished in third.

Despite the long haul back from Brisbane, Coleen showed no signs of fatigue, lighting up as she reunited with those closest to her. Her young sons, Cass, six, and Kit, eight, had been Down Under with her parents, whereas her older children — Kai, 15, and Klay, 11 — along with husband Wayne, were championing her from home.

In an endearing post-exit chat, Coleen shared what Wayne told her over the phone. In conversation with ITV hosts Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid, she relayed: "He just said how much he missed me, how proud he was and that the support back home has been unbelievable. He just can't wait to see me and I can't wait to see him as well."

Coleen also revealed that her decision to join the show was a personal challenge to take a break from family life, reports the Manchester Evening News. She admitted during the interview: "I felt ready to give it a go. It was a challenge for myself to take myself away from my family, and I don't regret anything now after coming out."

While she was braving the jungle, Coleen had an emotional surprise as her mum Colette and her two youngest boys, Kai and Cass, came to visit. Overwhelmed with joy, Coleen couldn't hold back the tears as she told her sons: "I'm crying because I'm happy, because I've missed you so much."

During the final of I'm A Celeb, Coleen expressed her surprise at making it so far in the competition to Ant and Dec and said: "I didn't expect to get this far! Danny truly deserves it, I was happy to share the camp with everyone." Coleen also described it as a 'strange experience' and said: "It gave me time to think about me, my strengths and weaknesses."
