Coleen Nolan found love on Tinder after almost swiping left.

The ‘Loose Women’ star - who split from husband Ray Fensome in 2018 after 11 years of marriage - was about to give up on love until she met new flame Michael Jones on Tinder last summer.

She said: “This was probably the most secure and confident I’ve ever felt going into a relationship,

“It means that seven months in, things are going brilliantly. We’ve not even had our first row.”

The former Nolans singer - who has Shane, 30 and Jake, 29 from her marriage to soap star Shane Ritchie, and Ciara, 21, from her marriage to Ray - explained that a string of failed matches led her to almost deleting the app altogether, just before she matched with Michael.

She added: “I was literally about to come off the app when I spotted Michael and swiped right,

“I’d been on there for a while and after a string of dates with guys that just hadn’t worked out I was fed up with the whole thing.

“The men were all very nice, but one told me he couldn’t deal with the fact I was in the public eye, so obviously that wasn’t going to work.

“Another was a bit tetchy when I didn’t reply to a message straight away so I knew that wasn’t worth the effort.

“Others I met I just didn’t feel a spark with, so that morning I’d decided I was going to get rid of my Tinder account altogether and take a break

“I was fed up with it, but then Michael popped up. I thought, ‘Oh he’s nice’ and something stopped me from deleting my account.

“Looking back, it wasn’t even that nice a picture of him, he looked like he’d just got out of bed, but something caught my eye and that was it.

“I swiped right, we got a match, and I’m so glad I did.”

After an exchange of messages, Coleen met Michael, 57, in a pub and Coleen - who had previously sworn off getting married for a third time - now claims that a wedding is could be on the cards.

She added: “I’d said I’d never in a million years get married again. But Michael has said a couple of times that it’s just inevitable, so who knows.”
