It’s not Christmas until you’ve made yourself feel sick by drinking too much Baileys. If you agree with this, the news that Morrisons is selling a litre bottle of the stuff for £10 is going to be just what you want to hear on this drizzly grey day.

A bottle this size would usually set you back a crisp £20 note, so this is a hell of a deal.

Asda and Tesco is currently selling the same sized bottle for £12, and you can pick one up from Sainsbury’s for £15. So, yeah, Morrisons is where you need to go if you want a bargain bottle of Baileys in your basket.

If you’re a fan of Baileys but fancy something a little different this festive season, may I introduce you to the new Red Velvet Cupcake flavour?

Baileys Red Velvet was first introduced in the USA when the cream liqueur brand joined forces with America’s Georgetown Cupcake. But, praise be, we can finally get it over here in the UK.

Baileys says, “Now you can have your cupcakes and drink them too”, and describes the dreamy drink as, “Sweet, silky and creamy. And wonderfully warming and seductive whether it’s poured over ice and served in a tumbler or added to your coffee.”

The booze brand adds, “Encapsulating the classic cake taste of sumptuous chocolate and cream cheese frosting - without being too sweet – Baileys Red Velvet has cocoa running through it to provide a slight but irresistible richness."
