Remember Clifford the Big Red Dog? He's back… in live-action form.

Yup, in what looks to be a major dose of CGI creepiness cuteness, we are getting a big-screen take on the kids classic starring Jack Whitehall and John Cleese.

In the first teaser, we see a row of dogs as the voiceover man declares: "This holiday season, we're thankful for the pets that got us through the year… but next year get ready to love even bigger!"

We then see our giant, red four-legged friend Clifford towering over the other doggos in all his CGI glory. N'aww.

The movie's synopsis reads: "When middle-schooler Emily Elizabeth (Darby Camp) meets a magical animal rescuer (Cleese) who gifts her a little, red puppy, she never anticipated waking up to find a giant ten-foot hound in her small New York City apartment.

"While her single mum (Sienna Guillory) is away for business, Emily and her fun but impulsive uncle Casey (Whitehall) set out on an adventure that will keep you on the edge-of-your-seat as our heroes take a bite out of the Big Apple."
