This cleanser is getting ALL the 5-star reviews right now
We know, we know - there are so many cleansers out there these days. From spa-inspired balms to acne-clearing gels and supposedly superhero formulas that claim to make skin brighter, glowier and even younger (I mean, really?), it’s easy to think you need to keep about 174 different bottles in your bathroom to accommodate for every skin demand.
Which is why we love a good no-nonsense product that you don’t need a degree in dermatology to understand.
If you're suffering from cleanser overload (dramatic, us?) then we have a recommendation for you.
Emma Hardie’s Moringa Cleansing Balm is an under-sung hero that you’ll be hooked on after one use, which is why we weren’t at all surprised when we discovered it’s enjoying a 100% 5-star review streak on Feel Unique. Yup, with 137 5-star reviews, it's clearly doing something right. (Oh, and we hear you’ll even find it in the bathrooms of Fearne Cotton and Estee Lalonde.)
The botanical balm contains a host of natural extracts that smooth and re-plump skin without throwing it out of whack. It’ll melt away make-up without melting your face off (sensitive souls take note – there’s no alcohol or acid to be found here), and you won’t need to go in with a second cleanser after.

Rose oil and vitamin E are amongst the skin-softening extracts, and wild sea fennel purifies congested pores. But the very best part is the orange and jasmine oils, which are responsible for the addictive herbal fragrance – seriously, it’ll have you looking forward to cleansing your face all day.

The balm is fairly dense, rather than overly greasy, so you can get a really good facial massage out of it. When you’re done, soak the accompanying muslin cloth in warm water, using the textured side for a spot of buffing, and the smooth side to sweep away any residue. Your skin will feel really clean (no easy feat for a balm) yet never tight or stripped.
As if that doesn’t all sound dreamy enough, the balm also doubles up as a super-hydrating mask. Slather it on before a bath for a DIY pore-clearing steam treatment, apply a light layer overnight to soothe super-dry skin, or swipe it over cracked lips and elbows.
