If you're after a minidress for the work Christmas party or 25 December itself, Claudia Winkleman may have just found the perfect high street purchase.

The TV star, 49, wowed Strictly Come Dancing fans when she co-hosted Saturday night's show in a very sparkly – but rather affordable – look from Zara.

She slipped on the Spanish brand's black 'Sequinned Crossover Dress' that costs £59.99 and comes in sizes XS to XXL.

According to Zara's website, the head-turning frock – which is currently sold out, but will be back in stock soon – features a V-neck, long sleeves and a wrap-style fastening with ties at the front.

Winkleman shared a black and white picture of her stylish ensemble in a post on Instagram, which has received more than 12,000 'likes'.

Dozens of social media users commented on the image, asking where the "gorgeous" minidress was from.

One shared: "I bought one exactly the same from there for my work Christmas party."

Many others also complimented how the presenter had finished off her look with a pair of "flawless" black opaque tights.

Winkleman also wore a pair of black heels, which are thought to be a same design she has worn before – the Gianvito Rossi 105 Pump, costing just over £500.

Her co-host Tess Daly also dazzled on Saturday evening in a sparkly Nadine Merabi Celina Pink Dress, costing £295, which she accessorised with Dune's Meri T Square Toe High Heel Sandals, £85, in 'camel'.

Last week, Winkleman caused quite a stir by wearing a red and white polka dot midi-dress with white heels for the show.

Many fans expressed surprise on Instagram at the bright colour choice, since the mother-of-three has been renowned for wearing black for much of the series.

In October, Winkleman stunned for the much-loved 'Movies Week', in a slinky, off-shoulder black midi-dress – also from Zara.

Finishing off her chic ensemble, she opted for an eye-catching pair of bright red heels from luxury shoe label Manolo Blahnik and hooped earrings from jewellery brand Optiumberg.

It came shortly after the star turned heads on another episode by wearing a pair of black leggings, costing £12 from River Island.

She wore them along with a black blazer, costing £69.99 from Zara, and a pair of nude, suede Gianvito Rossi pumps.
